Philips Neuro designs, develops and commercializes a range of non-invasive technologies used to monitor and interpret brain activity. A key component of these products is the dense array electro encephalography (dEEG) platform technology.
The dense array method gathers brain activity data from many more electrodes than conventional EEG products (up to 256), generating significantly higher quality and more precise levels of information.
Philips Neuro has a portfolio of EEG hardware, software and acquisition sensors that complements its existing portfolio of imaging technologies and advanced informatics for neurological applications. The combined portfolios will enable Philips to address neurological disorders such as stroke, epilepsy, traumatic brain injury and Parkinson’s disease.
With regulatory clearance in the US, EU and a number of other major international regulatory bodies, our technology has been increasingly adopted as a powerful research tool and more recently as a cost effective and patient friendly clinical neuro diagnostic platform.
