Celebrate spring at the Philips Museum!

This spring, the Philips Museum has an extensive programme for the whole family. Visit our exhibitions, including the interactive exhibition on AI. Or participate in one of the many activities such as Museum Kids Factory, a craft workshop where children learn about technology through play.

Museum Kids Factory

The Museum Kids Factory returns from 28 April to 5 May with creative workshops for children aged 6 to 12 years. Young creators can build their own electronic circuits and create moving objects like vehicles with flashing lights. For children aged 5 and 6, there’s a tailored programme with craft and drawing activities. Making a reservation for participating in Museum Kids Factory is necessary.

Exhibitions

Visitors can discover the impact of artificial intelligence on our daily lives at brAInpower. The exhibition ‘Eendracht maakt macht’ celebrates the more than a century-old connection between PSV, Philips, and the city of Eindhoven. Gerard offers an insight into the thoughts and actions of the founder of Philips.

Design your MRI experience

15, 16 & 17 April, children can design their own MRI experience. Staying still in an MRI scan can be quite the challenge. Being in a pleasant environment can help. Children think about what makes them feel at ease and then draw their ideal environment. Through projection, they see this come to life.

Mini-lectures on the history of technology

Our Philips experts are ready to tell you all about subjects such as X-rays, the development of radio technology, or the evolution of television. Check here to see which mini-lecture you can attend on which days.

Historical play The Lamp

18, 19, 20, 21 & 27 April and 26 May to 1 June, you can enjoy the historical play The Lamp. This play takes you back to 1891 and tells the story of the Lamp Maker and the Philips brothers Gerard and Anton. Discover the manufacturing process of the first light bulbs in the Old Factory.

Interactive group game and Torchlight Treasure Hunt

There is plenty to discover for families too! Join in with the tablet game Mission Eureka and solve eight challenging tasks together. Or go on an adventure in the Torchlight Treasure Hunt, where young visitors search for hidden symbols with a special UV torch. You can participate in Mission Eureka and the Lamp Hunt every day.

So, plan your visit to the Philips Museum this spring and enjoy an educational and fun outing!
