Philips opent deuren tijdens Dutch Technology Week 2019

Voor wie?

Tijdens deze open dag biedt het bedrijf toekomstig talent een unieke kans om met onze high tech innovaties en unieke werkomgeving kennis te maken. Maar niet alleen toekomstig talent: iedereen is welkom om tijdens de open dag zelf het succes van de Nederlandse hightechindustrie van dichtbij mee te maken. Niet alleen techniek om de techniek, maar als middel om het leven en de gezondheid van mensen te verbeteren. Het doel is om bewustzijn en interesse te creëren voor het belang van de technische sector en daarmee kinderen, en hun ouders, te inspireren om een technische opleiding te volgen.

Wat is er te zien en te doen?

Tijdens de open dag zijn er verschillende demo’s en productinnovaties te zien. Daarbij gaat het niet alleen om oplossingen binnen de gezondheidszorg, maar ook om innovaties die bijdragen aan een gezond leven. Voor de jeugd is er een leuk en uitdagend programma met verschillende workshops en activiteiten (o.a van Mad Science) waarin jongeren actief kennis kunnen maken met de boeiende wereld van ontdekkingen en innovaties. Daarnaast bieden de fabrieken en het Customer Experience Center een kijkje in de ‘innovatiekeuken’. 

During Dutch Technology Week (DTW) on Saturday 25 May from 11.00-17.00, Philips in Best - part of Philips Innovation Center Eindhoven - will open its doors as 'Hotspot' on the 'High Tech Discovery Route'.

For whom?

During this open day, Philips offers future talent a unique opportunity to get acquainted with our high-tech innovations and unique working environment. But not only future talent: everyone is welcome to experience the success of the Dutch high-tech industry at first hand during the open day. Not just technology for technology, but as a way to improve people's lives and health. The goal is to create awareness and interest in the importance of the technical sector and thus to inspire children, and their parents, to follow a technical education.

What is there to see and do?

During the open day, there are several demos and product innovations to see. The company will not only show the solutions within the healthcare sector, but also show innovations that contribute to a healthy life. And for the youth there is a fun and challenging program with various workshops and activities (including Mad Science) in which young people can actively get acquainted with the fascinating world of discoveries and innovations. In addition, the factories and the Customer Experience Center offer a glimpse into our 'innovation kitchen'. 

Practical information

The open day is open to everyone. There is parking space on the campus in Best, but for visitors who travel by public transport, between 11.00 and 17.00 hours there is a free shuttle bus between Best train station and the campus.
