The Philips Museum has been named Kidsproof Museum 2024! Kidsproof is a hallmark of the Museum Association and is created by and for children. Thanks to thousands of Museum Inspectors, 77 Kidsproof museums have been chosen for 2024 and we are one of them.
A growing number of children know how to find museums. They can become museum inspectors and rate museums. They fill in questions such as: "How many stars does this museum get from you?" and "What would you do if you could be the boss of this museum?
Do children up to 12 years old give a high rating and would they recommend the museum to their friends? Then the museum has a chance to win a Kidsproof label! After 15,000 museum inspections, 77 museums throughout the Netherlands may now call themselves Kidsproof for a year.
In our museum there are lots of fun and educational activities for children. Search for hidden clues with the Torchlight Treasure Hunt or play the family game Mission Eureka. During most school vacations, you can also join Museum Kids Factory: a craft workshop where you learn more about technology.
Check out the Museumkids website here for all Kidsproof museums of 2024 or become a museum inspector yourself!
