Every first Thursday of the month, the Philips Museum is open until 9 p.m.! And every month we have something special planned. The next evening opening is on Thursday June 6th.
On this evening, students from Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e) will be ready at the museum to explain their own AI demo and projects. By the way, some students are involved in the creation of our newest exhibition "brAInpower". Visitors can work with the prototypes themselves to experience AI.
This is your chance to learn all about the interactive applications of AI. For example, meet a robotic animal, a "Fido". Or experience real-time, playful visualizations of your own movements. You can also recall memories using objects and AI-generated questions.
And that's not all. Ger Janssen (Data & AI scientist at Philips) will give a lecture this evening on the role artificial intelligence plays in healthcare. The healthcare industry is facing significant challenges, due to for example staff shortages and an increasing demand for care as we all age. AI can make a positive contribution in several areas to keep those challenges manageable.
By the way, did you know that AI in healthcare is not new, but has been used in certain areas for quite some time? The lecture will elaborate on the role AI is already playing in healthcare and look ahead to future possibilities. Of course, the challenges posed by AI will also be discussed.
