During the weekend of March 16 and 17, the Philips Museum is all about health. This year in close cooperation with the Heart Foundation. What do you know about your heart? Come dance to the rhythm of your heartbeat, take the Heartquiz or learn all about CPR!
Children and adults learn about their heart and healthy lifestyle in a playful way during HealthLab at the Philips Museum in Eindhoven. Children can put on a lab coat and perform all kinds of experiments and tests. Adults participate as well. In different ways you collect data about the body and process this data on a 'fit-card'.
Find out how a human body is put together, learn the difference between an MRI or X-ray scan or what effect certain activities have on your heart.
Step into the fascinating world of CPR using augmented reality or take on the challenge with a real CPR manikin. Virtual or tangible, learn the art of CPR.
Energy to spare? Then come dance to the beat of your heart in our silent disco! For the first time in the museum! Find out if you prefer listening to music that makes your heart beat faster or music that calms you down.
Don't forget to stop by our museum café, where you can not only enjoy a delicious healthy smoothie, but also guess what ingredients were used and which ones are good for your heart.
Participation in HealthLab's activities is free, all you need is a regular entrance ticket.
HealthLab is an initiative of the Philips Museum and is made possible in part by Hartstichting, Philips and Brainport Bereikbaar.
