How does it work?
Participating in tests at the Product Research Center in Drachten
In the Product Research Center in Drachten, we test new Personal Health products that are developed at Philips Drachten. We use different types of user studies for this. Sometimes we might ask you to fill in an online questionnaire, at other times, we could ask you to test a product at home. However, most of the tests take place at our test location in Drachten, where you can participate in a user test or interview, for example.
The information from these user studies we conduct allows Philips to determine what requirements new products must meet. This is how we improve people's lives worldwide. Invitation
Do you belong to the target group for a study? Then you will receive an invitation.
You decide whether you want to participate or not
Test
During all test types, you will receive instructions and an explanation.
This is followed by the test
Incentive
You will receive your incentive via e-mail in the form of a VVV online gift code when the (whole) study has ended.

Online questionnaires
You will receive an invitation by e-mail to fill in a questionnaire online.
Testing on location in Drachten
You will be invited to our test location in Drachten. This could be, for example, for a user test, interview, or group discussion.
Testing products at home
You will be sent a product to use at home for a certain period, and you will be asked to answer a number of online questionnaires about it. The tested products remain the property of Philips and must be returned at the end of the study.
What about your data?
Your privacy and the protection of your personal data are very important to Philips. For example, we only use your data for research you choose to participate in, we delete your information from our database after a certain period, and we will never share your data with other parties without your explicit consent. Philips maintains a strict privacy policy, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).
