Can anyone become a panelist?

Anyone over the age of 18 who wants to participate in our surveys can register

Can more than one person per household participate?

Yes, all persons over the age of 18 in your household can participate. Everyone must register individually with their own e-mail address.

Will I be reimbursed for participating in studies?

Yes, if you participate in a study, you will receive compensation. The amount differs per study and is always stated in the invitation email you receive for a study. 


You will receive the compensation by e-mail in the form of a VVV Online Gift Code


If applicable, you will also receive a contribution to the travel costs if there is an on-site examination (compensation: <5 km: no compensation, 5-10 km: €5,00, 10-15 km: €7,50, 15-25 km: €12,50, 25-35 km: € 17,50, 35-50 km: €25,00, >50 km: € 30,00)

How do I register as a product tester?

You can register via the 'Register' button.After your registration you will be in our database. As soon as there is a study for which you are eligible, you will receive an e-mail from us.

How can I unsubscribe as a product tester?

This can be done by clicking on the unsubscribe link at the bottom of the e-mails you receive from us, or by sending an e-mail to testen@philips.com with your username and address details.

What should I do if I forget my username and/or password?

Choose 'login' at the top of the website. 
In the login screen, choose 'forgot password' and enter your e-mail address. After sending, you will receive a new password by e-mail.

What happens to my personal data?

Your personal data is securely stored in a database that is only accessible to Philips.

Philips maintains a strict privacy policy, in accordance with the GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation).

How do I change my personal information?

Change your personal details by choosing 'log in' at the top of our website. After logging in, you can change your details. Save the data by choosing 'send' in the last screen.

I receive (almost) no invitations to participate in a study. How is that possible?

If you don't receive invitations, your profile probably doesn't fit the criteria that apply to the surveys that are currently underway.

Can I keep a test device after an examination?

No, the tested products remain the property of Philips, after the test you always return the product to the test supervisor or return the product. 
Returning a test device is always free of charge.

Are the tests of the Product Research Center Drachten linked to the Philips product tester platform?

No, this is separate. You need an account separately for both platforms.
