Philips Museum Late presents info session on AI: Creating safe and reliable AI

On Thursday, July 4, we dive into the topic of Artificial Intelligence (AI) with colleague Arlette van Wissen, Responsible & Sustainable AI lead.

AI can help make healthcare more accessible, affordable and effective.

However, developing and using AI can also unintentionally lead to wrong conclusions or increase existing inequities.

In this session, Arlette will talk about how work is being done within Philips to create safe and reliable AI, covering topics such as bias, accountability and transparency.

She will also outline the context of developing medical AI within the broader regulatory environment, for example of the new European legislation around AI: the AI Act.

Arlette van Wissen leads work within Philips on responsible and sustainable AI innovation. The team works on tools, methods and processes to make AI solutions reliable and of high quality.
